EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) is a form of psychotherapy that facilitates healing from trauma and emotional distress arising due to disturbing life events.  EMDR supports the brain in processing traumatic memories and events and allows healing to occur using the natural adaptive information processing mechanism inherent in the brain.

EMDR is highly recommended as an effective trauma treatment and has a growing body of evidence. I use EMDR in combination with IFS (Internal Family Systems) for many issues including grief and loss, sleep issues and nightmares, PTSD, abuse of any kind, medical trauma, accidents, bullying, anxiety, depression, phobias, pain, developmental trauma etc.
