IFS is an evidence based form of therapy shown to be highly effective at treating many different issues and problems.  IFS is based on the idea that we are all made up of different parts, wounded parts that hold hurt and pain, as well as parts that work hard to protect us from that pain.  These parts are often in conflict and interract much like an inner family.  A central idea in IFS is that we all have an undamaged, resourceful, authentic Self at our core.  By accessing and working with that Self we can bring healing, peace and harmony to the wounded and protective parts of our system.
